About

My work is inspired by the loss of my mother at an early age. Growing up, I was surrounded by her artwork, quilts and handmade dresses. I paint to honor her, and my other lost loved ones. Many of my ideas and titles are drawn from 20th century Irish literature and poetry.

I grew up in Apple Valley, Minnesota and received her BA in 2020 at St Olaf College. There I double-majored in Art History and Studio Art. Afterwards, I enrolled into The Atelier: Studio Program of Fine Arts’ full-time program, desiring to hone my realism and painting skills. After studying there for 5 years, I joined the part-time teaching staff at The Atelier.
